Ritushri has a keen interest in the universal appeal of art beyond its contextual framework. Born and brought up in Calcutta, India, she has been actively involved and influenced by the rich cultural heritage of the city. Having interacted with several artists in this context, works that defy constraints of geography and culture have found their place in her gallery. It is the universal appeal of these works that attracts Ritushri to them and it is her attempt to put forward such works of art.
